WHAT IS A COURSE?

A course on EEVON is a set of Lessons divided into topics. It might be a full length course such as a ‘qualification’, a shorter course like a ‘mini-course’ or a one-lesson ‘resource’. Learn more about the types of courses we have on EEVON below.

EXAMPLE COURSES

WHAT IS A QUALIFICATION?

A qualification on EEVON is a full length course. It consists of multiple lessons, divided into topics. You are generally expected to move through these courses in a linear fashion, meaning you need to complete the first lesson to move onto the next and so on. When you finish a qualification, you will get a certificate!

Everybody on EEVON has access to our Level 1 and Level 2 below. They are both qualifications!

WHAT IS A MINI-COURSE?

A Mini-Course is a short course, maybe two to 5 lessons that takes you through some more specialised areas of learning. they don’t result in a certificate, but can be a great way to learn more about the areas you cover in your qualifications.

A mini-course might delve a little deeper into the bio-psycho-social model or may collate a few breathing technique resources so you can find them all in one place.

WHAT IS A RESOURCE?

A resource is a short technique, skill or activity that is usually condensed into one or two lessons.

This might be a ‘How to: Square Breathing’ or take you through writing yourself a motivational plan.

WHAT IS AN ACTIVITY?

Within all our courses, you may come across activities. These are interactive parts of the course that will require you to match pairs, fill out descriptive boxes and answer questions to build necessary and personalised resources and to consolidate your learning. They all work slightly differently and will likely have instructions to help you work through them. The great thing about these is that you can come back to them time and time again to change your answers and build upon them.

This might be building your motivational plan.
